Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has instructed to ban the download of Popular Mobile Video App Tiktok. This court order has been given in view of the overwhelming majority of obscene material in the video.

मद्रास हाई कोर्ट की मदुरै बेंच ने पॉपुलर मोबाइल विडियो ऐप टिक टॉक की डाउनलोडिंग पर बैन लगाने का निर्देश दिया है। कोर्ट का ये आदेश विडियोज में अश्लील सामग्री की भरमार को देखते हुए दिया गया है।

In this matter, the court asked the central government to bring such a law, as the US government has brought under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act to protect children from becoming victims of cybercrime. The court has also asked the media not to broadcast the video created on the Tiktok

इस विषय में कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार से पूछा कि ऐसा कोई कानून लाया जा सके, जैसे अमेरिका की सरकार बच्चों को साइबर क्राइम का शिकार बनने से बचाने के लिए चिल्ड्रेन्स ऑनलाइन प्रिवेसी प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट के तहत लाई है।’ कोर्ट ने मीडिया से भी टिक टॉक पर बने विडियो का प्रसारण न करने को कहा है।

In fact, in the month of February, Minister of Information Technology, M Manikandan, Tamil Nadu had said that the state government would ask the centre to ban this app from the centre. The objection was made to the Tiktok app on such videos, which were working to spoil the culture. The petition was filed in court against this and demanded to ban the app.

दरअसल फरवरी महीने में तमिलनाडु के सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री एम मनिकंदन ने कहा था कि राज्य सरकार केंद्र से इस ऐप को बैन करने की मांग करेगी। टिक टॉप ऐप पर ऐसे विडियोज को लेकर आपत्ति दर्ज कराई गई थी, जो संस्कृति को खराब करने का काम कर रहे थे। इसी को लेकर कोर्ट में याचिका दायर करके ऐप को बैन करने की मांग की गई थी।
