How to Set or Change the Favicon on Blogger / Blogspot

Recently Google changed the Interface of Blogger / Blogspot and in new interface there is no option to set or update the favicon icon. Previously the option was under layout option in Old interface. But there is a method or trick to change or set the favicon icon and today in this post I am going to share that method.

Follow these steps to set or update favicon icon on Blogger / Blogspot

Step 1: Login in to your Blogger Account

If you are login more then one account then sign out all of your google accounts and login to only one of your blogger blog account

Step 2: Get Blogger Blog Id

Now it’s an important step, Now click on your URL after login to your blogger blog account.
If you have multiple blogs under your blogger account. Select the one, which you wan to change the favicon icon.
Now find and copy the blog ID, which is after blog/post/ in your URL (For Details refer to the image below and find the red box

Step 3: Upload your Favicon icon

Copy the below URL and replace YOUR-BLOG-ID with the Blog ID of your Blog Account and open in a New Tab

https://www.blogger.com/u/2/change-favicon.g?blogID=YOUR-BLOG-ID&pli=1

Example:

https://www.blogger.com/u/2/change-favicon.g?blogID=126612124654661550542133&pli=1

Now select and upload an image less then 100kb and click 2 times on Save button to upload the favicon icon.
