First flying car PAL V to be built in India

Soon flying cars will also be seen in India. Not only this, but that will also be ‘Make in India’. Flying car maker PAL-V has announced that it will manufacture its car in Gujarat. This car was introduced by the company at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show.

Helicopter mechanism

The company will start production of this car by 2021. The company has also received advance orders of around 100 cars. These cars will be exported to other European countries including the US. At the same time, the company will also make some cars for the film industry. The company says that this car will be a three-wheeler, with the helicopter’s miniature mechanism. The price of this car is Rs 4.3 crore and production of this car has started. The first delivery of this car will start from 2021.

12,500 feet elevation

The body of this car will be of carbon fibre, while the interior parts will be made of aluminium and titanium. At the same time, its weight will be only 680 kg. This car will require 165 meters of space to takeoff. This vehicle has rear propellers upwards, which can be removed if not needed. The special thing is that with the help of these propellers this car can fly to a height of 12,500 feet.

Maximum speed 322 km per hour

The company says that gasoline is required to run this car and the maximum speed of this car is 322 km per hour. On the road, this car can run at a speed of 180 km per hour. The car can seat two people and has a four-cylinder engine with 230 horsepower. It will not feature vertical take-off and landing.

Gyrocopter in 10 minutes

This car transforms from a three-seater car to a two-seater gyrocopter in just 10 minutes and takes just eight seconds to catch a speed of 0 to 100. The company has made the car in such a way that its blades are twisted by just pressing a button. This car is being called the world’s first ‘drive and fly’ car. The car has a bike-like handle so that it can be controlled both on-road and air. But a condition of buying the car will be that its buyer must have both pilot and driving license.

Up to 500 km at a time

This car will turn into a flying car, running for three minutes, when it lands, an engine will work, keeping the speed limit of 160 kilometres per hour. The company will also bring its cheaper version, which will be called PAL-V Liberty Sport and it will be less than half the price of the current one. Each unit of this car will be tested for at least 150 hours. It will have a 102-litre fuel tank, which can travel up to 500 km in the air, while on the road it can cover a distance of 1200 km.
