If you are looking for, to create your own website and you don’t know any programming language or coding knowledge. On this post, I’ll guide you and share some easy point to point steps, so that you can create your own website with NO coding knowledge on Bluehost.

To follow or to gain properly, it’s a recommendation to follow these steps on a new browser tab, and if you are reading this blog post on mobile, switch to the laptop or desktop.

Let’s start

Easy Steps to create your own Website with NO coding knowledge on Bluehost

For a website you need two things

  1. A Domain name (or the name of your website), and
  2. A Web space (web hosting or a space where we keep our website files)

Step 1: Buy a Domain Name

Domain name is the name of your website, like we have (studywarehouse.com) and it should be unique. No two websites on the Internet can have same name. You can buy the domain name in low price, and for that, follow the search bar below to find the available domain name. You can also get a domain name for free, but it’s only for one domain name and to know more about this, follow the step 2.

Step 2: Buy a Web hosting with a Free domain name

If you are a new user, than there are some web hosting companies, who offers a Free Single Domain Name for first year. All you need to avail the web hosting related services from that companies.

Follow the link below, to buy some cheap (price wise only) and best (in terms of services) web hosting related service with one year free domain name.

Which type of hosting is perfect for you?

Well, if you are new, than I personally recommend you to go with Shared Web hosting plan. Basic one, if you are planning for a single website and the choice plus, if in near future (within 5-6 months), you are planning for more than one website.

Now, you have a domain name and a web hosting plan. Jump to the next step to setup your website on Bluehost.

Step 3: Setup your website

If you’ve chosen Bluehost as your web host, WordPress will be automatically installed for you. All you have to do is click, ‘Log in‘ and choose a theme. if you aren’t sure which theme you want, don’t worry! You can go back and change it later.

Step 4: Learn your WordPress Dashboard

Now that you are ready to start working, you should find yourself on the Dashboard, or the back-end, for your new website. This is the service area that allows you to control what your website visitors will see when they land on your pages. Spend some time learning the WordPress admin dashboard by reviewing features that you will use most often.

Quick way to reach your Dashboard

For example, if your website is abc.com, than to login to your dashboard, follow this link abc.com/wp-admin

That means, you need to add /wp-admin with your domain name on any web browser.

Obviously, you need to enter your credentials to login to your dashboard.

Step 5: Customize Themes and Pages

Let the fun begin! You are ready to start fine-tuning your site with your color choices, font styles, and special elements that will help you express your company culture or personality. You can dive right in and write your first post, but it’s beneficial to get to know the features and functionality of your site first.

On the left-hand sidebar you’ll find navigation links that allow you to customize your site. The best way to get to know your way around is to click on each tab and explore the options.

  • Browse the themes; there are paid and free options available.
  • Customize your theme with colors, headers, and social media buttons.
  • Upload photos to inspire your site visitors and add clues about your values and services.
  • Create your first blog post and main page content.
  • Add a contact form

Most importantly, there are thousands of free and paid WordPress themes available on the web.

I personally recommend you to go with Newspaper by tagDiv – WordPress Theme. It’s a complete theme. Just click on the above link and check all the demos. I am sure, you love this theme.

All the best and let me know for any doubt.
